What are anogenital warts ❓ 

Small lumps that develop around the genital area and/or back passage (anus) 

Caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) 

Usually passed on by sexual contact/ contact with contaminated surfaces or objects 👫

 

What are the symptoms of anogenital warts ❓ 

Can have different appearances: 

Small, skin-coloured skin lumps 

Red/white/ grey colour 

Can be soft or firm 

Cauliflower-like growth 

Sometimes: 

Sore 

Bleed

Examination of the genital area 

Screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

No treatment required  

Podophyllotoxin solution
