 Skin changes in the lower legs when pressure in the veins of the leg increases ⬆

 Also known as gravitational eczema

 Caused by weak calf muscles and incompetent valves in the veins

 Red, itchy, scaly, flaky skin

 May have blisters/ crusts on the surface

 Keep legs elevated slightly

 Keep active/ regular walking 🚶

 Avoid standing still for long periods of time ⌛
