 Loose or watery stools (faeces), usually at least three times in 24 hours ⌛

 Many causes including: 

 Infection of the gut from food, water, or close contact with infected individuals 

 Side effect of some medicines 💊

 Other gut disorders 

What are the symptoms of diarrhoea❓ 

 The main symptom is diarrhoea, often with being sick (vomiting) 🤮

 May include mucus, pus or blood in the stool 

 Cramping tummy pain 

How do you diagnose diarrhoea❓ 

 Having classical symptoms 

 Stool sample 💩

How do you treat diarrhoea❓ 

 Drinking plenty of fluids 

 Eat as normally as possible  🍫

Why should I worry about diarrhoea❓ 

 Dehydration- loss of too much fluid can become life threatening, particularly in the young
