What is Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo 

 A condition that affects the inner ear 👂

 Intense, short dizziness episodes (vertigo) from head movements

 Due to a disturbance (of debris called otoconia) in the fluid of the inner ear

 Causes: may be due to injury or an ear condition 🤕

 

What are the Symptoms of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo

 Sensation of imbalance/movement

 Examination including specific movements/manoeuvres to trigger symptoms 🏥

 Head movements to dislodge the debris (called brandt-daroff exercises)

 Usually is resolved within a few months
