What is General Palliative Care Used for โ
For patients with life-threatening, usually progressive illness ๐ค
Illness such as incurable cancer or multiple sclerosis
Commonly including the patients end-of-life care ๐ง
When is Specialist Palliative Care Used โ
For patients with advanced and/or complex illness
Some patients may require treatment in hospices ๐
Provides bereavement support services
